We had a very constructive discussion, the Minister said, focusing on the General Health System.
The aim of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Kanari pointed out, is to correct the distortions that have occurred in the four years of operation of the General Health System. "The General Health System has been embraced by the Cypriot people and we must make every effort to modernize and upgrade it," she added.
In cooperation with all our partners and with the contribution of the parliamentary parties, the minister concluded, I expect that we will provide solutions and promote bills for the benefit of the Cypriot people. Marinos Sizopoulos noted that the main goal of all is to maintain and strengthen the advantages offered by the GESY and improve the distortions that have been identified, through constructive proposals.
