The final celebration of the summer school, at the Cooperation Centre in Kormakitis, was attended by the Head of Humanitarian Affairs for Missing and Trapped Persons Ms Anna Aristotelous, who in her greeting, on behalf of the President of the Republic, conveyed messages of support and recognition of the efforts made to preserve both the Maronite language and our history in general.
Mrs. Aristotelous, stressing the importance of the operation of the summer school in occupied Kormakitis, welcomed the 85 children who participated in the lessons and had the opportunity to discover not only the magic of the Maronite language, but also the rich heritage of our culture and their roots in occupied Kormakitis.
"Through the activities of the summer school and the excursions to the Maronite villages they came into contact with the history, customs, traditions and traditions that are at the core of our identity.
