A number of Memoranda of Understanding between the Republic of Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates are expected to be signed during the visit of President Nicos Anastasiades to Dubai, where he will visit EXPO 2020 on the occasion of International Cyprus Day.
During the President's visit to EXPO, on 24 February, and the consultations that will take place there with the UAE authorities, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on the field of Maritime Transport (MoU on Cooperation on the field of Maritime Transport) is expected to be signed. The MoU will be signed on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus by the Deputy Minister of Shipping Mr. Vassilis Demetriades.
Also, an MoU on Cyber Security will be signed. The MoU will be signed by Mr Kyriakos Kokkinos, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus.
An MoU in the field of Diplomatic Training will also be signed.
