The issues concerning the Municipality of Cheriou and related to the responsibilities of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works were on the agenda today at a meeting held by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Mr.
At the meeting, among other things, the project of widening and improving the section of the Cheriou Avenue that passes through the Municipality of Cheriou was discussed.

According to the Minister of Transport, the Department of Public Works will proceed with a call for tenders for the construction of the project in the coming days, with an estimated cost of more than €7 million (including VAT).
During the meeting, other improvement and remedial projects in the Municipality of Cheri were also discussed, which are expected to be promoted for implementation in the coming period.
