Today, February 12, 2024, a delegation of the Pancyprian Volunteer Coordinating Council (PCC) led by its President Mr. Elias Demetriou had a meeting with the Minister of Justice and Public Order Mr.
During the meeting, a constructive discussion was held on issues of common interest, focusing on the upgrading of the institution of the "Community Work Without Pay" (CEHA) Programme, an institution which the PSCC has been implementing since 2003 in cooperation with the relevant Ministries. The Minister and the President of the MAA confirmed the need to upgrade the CCW Programme for the benefit of the wider society, and discussed the planning of a Dialogue with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) within the year.
They also agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to define a programme of action to promote common objectives in areas of common interest, which will be the culmination of the long and fruitful cooperation between the two sides.
