Issues related to the implementation of the reform of the Local Government were the focus of a meeting of the Minister of Interior Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou with the General Secretaries of the trade unions OIO-SEK and SIDHEKEKEK-PEO.
At the meeting, the personnel issues of the Municipalities, Communities and Provincial Self-Government Organizations were extensively discussed.
The meeting focused on the personnel issues of the Municipalities, Communities and Provincial Self-Government Organizations. The Minister of Interior informed about the progress achieved in the preparation of standard Organigrams, Service Plans, as well as the conclusion of Unified Collective Agreements, the preparation of a uniform text of Regulations on the Conditions of Employment of Employees, etc.
The Minister of Interior and the representatives of the guilds reaffirmed the existing understanding and agreed to continue to keep each other informed on a regular basis, so that any issues arising can be resolved in a timely manner, with the ultimate goal of the successful implementation of the Local Government Reform.
