The Special Commission, which is responsible for conducting the Written Examination in the Civil Service, in accordance with the provisions of the Laws on the Evaluation of Candidates for Appointment to the Civil Service of 1998 to 2021, notifies the list of the successful candidates in order of success in the Written Examination held on 23.10.2021 in respect of posts for admission to the Civil Service whose initial scale does not exceed Scale A7 of the Government Salary Scale and for which the basic qualification required is a secondary school leaving certificate or a three-year post-secondary school diploma. The list of successful candidates is published with the candidate number and pass mark only.
A successful candidate in the Written Examination is one who has obtained a minimum overall pass mark of 50% on average and a minimum of 40% in each of the subjects included in the examination.
All those who attended the written examination and passed will be provided with a pass certificate stating the marks, identity card number and other details of the candidate. Those who fail will also be provided with a certificate. These certificates will not be sent by post but will be available on the website "Civil Service Recruitment Examination" (http://epd.moec.gov.cy) from 9.2.2022 at 12 noon. Candidates who attended the written examination will be able to locate them through their personal section with the codes given to them while submitting their application for the above examination. Success in the Written Examination entitles candidates to apply for appointment to several categories of posts which may be advertised in 2022 and which are included in Annex I of the relevant List of Posts approved by the House of Representatives and published in the Official Gazette No. 4135 and dated 24.9.2021.
The filling of the posts shall be carried out by the Public Service Commission on the basis of the provisions of the Laws referred to in the heading. Further details of how to apply will be included in the advertisement for each post. For additional information regarding the legislative framework of recruitment in the civil service, the posts for which the written test is conducted, the qualifications required etc.,
