The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that due to serious technical problems, the lighting of Larnaca Castle is out of order. Efforts are being made by all parties involved in the project (Department of Electromechanical Services, Project Designer, Contractor) to resolve the problems as soon as possible, while in cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaca, temporary lighting measures will be taken on the pedestrian walkway east of the Castle for the safe access of the public.
