The contract, funded by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), has a total value of €4.514,200, including an optional amount of €746,100, and represents an important step towards enhancing efficiency and transparency in public procurement procedures in Cyprus.

Mr Antoniades, welcoming the successful completion of the process with the signing of the contract, stressed the importance of this initiative for the modern and efficient management of public resources. He stressed that he expects the contractor to work professionally and consistently in order to develop and make available to buyers, as well as economic operators in Cyprus and abroad, a reliable, innovative and user-friendly system that promotes transparency and healthy competition.

Mr. Tsoepelas, on behalf of the contractor, expressed his company's commitment to implement the project with high standards of quality and professionalism in a way that enhances the capabilities of users to exploit modern technologies and which will fully meet their expectations.

The new system is expected to be fully operational before the end of 2025, contributing to the enhancement and modernization of the tools and automation currently used in the electronic management of public procurement in Cyprus.
