The inaugural presentation of the Action "Talking Digitally, Every Wednesday at 7:00pm", which is implemented by the Productivity Centre of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, took place on Wednesday 21/02/2024 with great success.
Talking Digitally" is a series of two-hour web presentations, each focusing on a specific Digital Skills topic.
In the first presentation, Dr. Savvas Hadjichristofis, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation and Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Neapolis University in Paphos, developed, through examples, the topic of the "Transformative Power of Artificial Intelligence at Work". The presentation, which kept the interest undiminished for more than two hours, was watched online by more than 180 people, which confirms the general belief that Digital Skills are now essential in our lives. At the end of the presentation there was an interesting discussion between the presenter and the participants.
The Productivity Centre also publicly expresses its thanks to the participants of the presentation and especially to Dr. Chatzichristofi.
Next Wednesday 28/02/2024 Ms. Vanessa Antoniadou from Microsoft Cyprus will speak to us on "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence at Work to Enhance Productivity". Special reference will be made to Copilot and how AI is integrated into various Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
