Following an announcement issued earlier today regarding the discovery of an unaccompanied minor girl in an area in Athienou, the Ministry of Social Welfare informs that, in cooperation with the Cyprus Police and the United Nations, the child was handed over by Social Welfare Officers to her parents at the Hydra Palace Barrier.
The Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Mrs. Anastasia Anthoussi, congratulates the Social Welfare Officers who from the very first moment stood by the child and handled the incident with absolute professionalism and sensitivity.
