The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts congratulates its founding member, Academician Kyriakos Charalambides, who was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Cyprus on 24/05/2024.
Kyriakos Charalambides is a Member of the Senate of the Academy and Secretary of the Department of Arts and Letters.
Kyriakos Charalambides' new distinction follows a number of other important awards he has received, such as the Award of Letters of the Republic of Cyprus, the State Poetry Prize of Cyprus and Greece, the Cavafy International Prize, the Uranis Award of the Academy of Athens, as well as the Honorary Doctorate of the Universities of Athens, Thessaloniki and Aegean, and his election as a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Athens.
