[PIO] Joint announcement by the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth on free admission for teachers to

It is announced that the Council of Ministers has approved a proposal submitted by the Ministry of State for Culture in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, for the implementation of the policy of free admission to monuments, organised archaeological sites, historical sites and museums belonging to the State, for teachers of both public and private schools.

The aim is to promote the education, training and information of teachers on cultural issues, as well as to enhance access to cultural heritage and contemporary artistic creation, with the ultimate goal of developing cultural literacy.

Following this decision, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth will issue a certificate, which will be given to all teachers working in public and private schools and will be valid for one school year.
