The Limassol District Office of Education, Sports and Youth, with a special emphasis on culture, organizes the 4th Dance Workshop on the occasion of the World Dance Day, which is celebrated on April 29th.
The aim of the workshop is to encourage and support the teaching of traditional dance in primary education as a thematic unit of the Physical Education Curriculum and a necessary part of a general education, but also as a valuable cultural heritage. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of the importance of dance in our lives.
The Dance Workshop will take place on Thursday, 25 April 2024, at the Old Limassol Harbour Square, at 09:00 - 12:00, under the auspices of the Honourable Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr Athena Michaelides.
