The Deputy Ministry of Tourism announces that it has created the "Theme Parks of Cyprus" Standard, which aims to establish the basic characteristics of a modern theme park and to ensure the quality of the services offered.
Beneficiaries of certification are businesses that have infrastructure and offer services that fall within the sphere of theme parks. To obtain the certificate, beneficiaries must meet all the mandatory criteria and 30% of the optional criteria included in the Standard, and formally submit, completed and duly documented, the "Theme Parks of Cyprus" Certification Application Form.
With the introduction of the Standard and, by extension, the setting of minimum conditions and requirements for theme parks, the Ministry of State attempts to promote the qualitative development of this product, with the ultimate aim of strengthening the local community, contributing to the guidance of businesses and offering various entertainment and educational options.
