The Environment Commissioner's Office and the Limassol-Amathus Sewerage Board join forces and contribute to the effort to inform and raise awareness on climate change and major environmental issues through information spots.

More specifically, they have prepared a series of spots, which will be promoted in social media and mass media and aim to prevent and mitigate the consequences of climate change and to cultivate an environmental culture.

The first spot is released today, on the occasion of the "World Environmental Health Day", which is September 26. On the occasion of this World Environment Day, the Environment Commissioner's Office and the Limassol-Amathus Sewerage Board have prepared a promotional material with ten good practices for reducing the impact of climate change.

The practices given are:

1. 1. We turn off our electrical appliances and do not put them in standby mode

3]

3. We consume less meat

4. We buy or cook as much food as we eat, reducing our waste

5. If we can, we telecommute for as long as we are allowed

6. We actively participate in actions and initiatives against climate change

7. We avoid single-use materials, whatever they are made of

8. For our shopping we use a reusable bag

9. We start composting at home

10. We walk or use a bicycle for our daily commute

The spot can be found at the following link https:/we.tl/t-dDTrB5kFPA and on the social media of the Environment Commissioner's Office and the Limassol-Amathus Sewerage Board:
