Important contacts were held yesterday Thursday and today Friday in Warsaw by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr. Kostas Koumis.
Specifically, Mr. Kumis met with the heads of tourism organizations operating programmes in our country, and exchanged views on the outcome of this year, the degree of satisfaction of their customers, as well as for next year.
In more detail, the discussions focused on the developments concerning the Polish market and in particular the issues of air connections, the possible increase in the number of seats offered as well as the possibility of extending the duration of the tourist programmes of some agencies.[IN ADDITION, MEETINGS WERE HELD WITH ORGANISATIONS SPECIALISING IN ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF TOURISM, FOCUSING ON SPORTS TOURISM.
At the same time, Mr Koumis gave interviews to three Polish media.
In his statements after the meetings, the Deputy Minister said the following. This year it recorded a significant increase of 47% compared to the previous year, reaching 240,000 arrivals by the end of October.
We are pleased that the degree of satisfaction of Polish visitors is quite high, always according to what our partners report to us.

Personally, I take the further growth of the Polish market for granted and with cautious optimism I would say that we expect it to reach or even surpass the 300 thousand visitor mark next year."
