The President of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget, Ms Christiana Erotokritou, will participate in a Tax Symposium of the European Parliament and the European Commission in Brussels
The President of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget, Ms. Christiana Erotokritou will travel to Brussels on Monday, 23 October 2023, to participate in a Tax Symposium on "The future of taxation in the EU: future challenges and required changes", co-organised by the European Parliament and the European Commission on 24 and 25 October 2023. She will be accompanied by Senior International Relations Officer Danae Agathokleous.
The Tax Symposium will be attended by representatives of the institutions and national parliaments of the European Union, economic policy makers, as well as experts, academics and civil society representatives in the field of taxation.
The Tax Symposium will be addressed by, among others, the Executive Vice President of the European Commission, Mr. Valdis Dombrovskis, First Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Digitalisation of Spain Nadia Calviño and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Belgium Nadia Calviño.
