[PIO] Holiday Grant Scheme for Persons with Disabilities for the year 2024

The Department of Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities announces that the Holiday Grant Scheme for Persons with Disabilities, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on 10/05/2022, will operate for 2024 for holidays to be taken in 2024.

Applications will be accepted from 11 March 2024 and will be accepted until 30 November 2024 or until the budget for this Scheme is exhausted.

Interested parties can obtain the Guide to the Holiday Grant Scheme for Persons with Disabilities and the application form:

(a) from the Department's website: www.dmsw.gov.cy/dsid

(b) from the Disability Assessment Centres of TKEAA:

2. in Nicosia, Ave. Makarios C' 67, 2220 Latsia,
3. in Limassol, 11 Apostolou Andreas, Hyper Tower, Branch 1, 4007 Mesa Gitonia,
4. and in Larnaca, 25 Akropoleos & Chania, 7000 Meneou

(c) from the Citizen Service Centres in all cities

Important Information

[*] It is the responsibility of the beneficiaries to ensure that the hotels/tourist accommodations are approved by the Ministry of Tourism and that they charge the usual rates for the period. The Department will carry out checks in case of significant deviation from the normal billing rates for the period, and will adjust the payment amount accordingly. [*]No payment will be made to a bank account other than that of the direct beneficiary or his/her guardian in the case of a minor beneficiary.
