I am really happy that today we deliver eight minibuses with seats for passengers and wheelchairs for people with disabilities to the Special School "Apostolos Loukas" in Limassol, to the Special School "Apostolos Varnavas" in Liopetri, the Private Centre for people with intellectual disabilities "Apostolos Pavlos" in Liopetri, the Special School "Evangelismos" in Geri, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth for Secondary Education and the Social Welfare Services of the Ministry of Social Welfare.
I feel the need to warmly thank the Ministry of Transport for its long-standing contribution and especially my friend Minister Alexis Vafeadis, because he attaches due importance to policies, actions and projects concerning persons with disabilities, showing personal interest.
As the Deputy Ministry responsible for the integration of persons with disabilities into society, allow me to note the importance we attach to synergies. Today's event shows precisely the holistic approach to the implementation of social policy.
Of course, an important component in the implementation of social policy is also the NGOs, associations, organizations, and of course the persons with disabilities themselves, who are partners for the Ministry of Social Welfare, whom we support and advise so that they have a role and a voice, following what is defined by modern social policy throughout Europe, but also by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It includes a total of 73 new actions and objectives from eight Ministries and four Deputy Ministries and it is important to mention that, for the first time, the National Strategy and Action Plan are listed in thematic pillars, which follow the life of our Person with Disabilities from birth to old age.
Today's event is an opportunity to assure that our efforts are multi-layered and parallel and include our dimension of continuous search for good practices, to which we attach particular importance.
To this end, the Ministry of Social Welfare, with all its Departments and Services, actively participates in European forums at every level and uses every possible access internationally, through the European and International Affairs Committee of our Ministry of Social Welfare.

Once again, I would like to thank you warmly for your presence here today, but above all for our close and close cooperation and I look forward to even more joint actions aimed at tackling social exclusion and discrimination.
