The Ministry of Health informs that the free distribution of the 1st package of self-test from Pharmacies continues and citizens can collect it until 24 January 2022, while the distribution of the 2nd package will start on 25 January 2022.

Beneficiaries are those citizens who have completed their vaccination schedule with two doses for the bivalent vaccines and one dose for the monovalent vaccine or have received the booster/3rd dose of vaccine and are also beneficiaries of the GHS.

a) GHS beneficiaries will pick up self-tests from GHS contracted pharmacies upon presentation of proof of identification.

  1. The package contains five self-tests and individuals will have the opportunity to self-test to determine if they are positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  2. In case of a positive result, citizens should contact their Personal Physician to refer them for a PCR test at the Public Health Clinics in their province of residence.

b) Citizens who are not beneficiaries of the JSIS, but have completed their vaccination schedule in Cyprus, or have completed their vaccination schedule in another European country and are beneficiaries of the JSIS, can collect the package containing the five self-tests from the locations below:
