The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, 15 April 2024, at 16:06, a fire occurred at the location "Vounari tou Kostas" of Aradippou Municipality.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under full control at 16:40, before it spread.
Six members of the Forestry Department with two fire engines, six members of the Fire Service with two fire engines and a private agricultural tractor worked to extinguish the fire.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
