The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that the forest fire that broke out today, Wednesday, 27 September 2023, at 13:25 in an area of Droushia Community, in Paphos District, was brought under full control at 13:50, after burning 0.5 decares of bushy wild vegetation and grasses.
One fire engine of the Forestry Department with six people operated to extinguish the fire. The Forestry Department's operations were supported by the Fire Department with one fire truck and two firefighters. The causes of the fire are being investigated.
