The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on Sunday 12 November at 14:50 a fire broke out in an area of the Fytis community of Paphos District.
The fire was brought under full control at 15:50 after it burned an area of one decade with low wild vegetation.
Two Forestry Department personnel with one fire engine participated in the extinguishing operation.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
