The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 18:20, a fire broke out in an area of the Fytis Community of Paphos District.
The fire was immediately brought under full control, after burning a small area of dry grass and waste. Two fire-fighting vehicles of the Forestry Department with seven people participated in the extinguishing operation.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
