The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 15:45, two fire incidents occurred in the community of Ineia, Paphos district.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate and the fires were brought under full control at 16:40, before they spread.
7 persons of the Forestry Department with 3 fire engines worked to extinguish the fires.
The exact causes of the fires are being investigated.
