The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Saturday 18 November 2023 at 11:45 a.m., a fire broke out in the location of Agiasmos in the municipality of Ineia, Paphos district.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate and the fire was brought under control at 12:40, after burning about five decares of low wild vegetation and dry grass.
Four persons of the Forestry Department with one fire truck worked to extinguish the fire.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
