The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 12:27 pm, a fire broke out in an area of the Community of Kellaki, Limassol District.
The fire, which started from a burning vehicle, was extinguished at 12:40 by personnel of the Forestry Department and the Fire Service, who immediately arrived at the incident, preventing its extension in the direction of the Limassol State Forest.
Six persons of the Forestry Department with two fire engines and three persons of the Fire Service with one fire engine participated in the extinguishing operation.
