The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, announces that today, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 17:05, a fire broke out in an area near the community of Fasli.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under control at 18:10, burning an area of two decares with crops and low wild vegetation.
12 persons of the Forestry Department with 4 fire engines participated in the extinguishing operation.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
