The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Monday 15 April 2024, at 12:40 p.m.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under full control at 13:15, before it spread.
Three Forestry Department personnel with two Forestry Department vehicles worked to extinguish the fire.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
