[PIO] Forest fire in the community of Kato Pyrgos Tilliria under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 14:35, a fire broke out in the community of Kato Pyrgos Tilliria.

Thanks to the immediate intervention of the forest firefighting forces, the fire was brought under full control at 14:45,before it spread.

Three persons of the Forestry Department with one fire engine worked to extinguish the fire.

The causes of the fire are being investigated.
