[PIO] Forest fire in the area of Androlikos Community under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 15:05 a fire broke out in an area of the Community of Androlikos.

The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under control at 15:25, before it spread.

Three Forestry Department personnel with one fire truck were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The exact causes of the fire are under investigation.
