The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Tuesday, 19 September 2023, at 15:15, a forest fire caused by lightning occurred at the boundaries of the Lysos Community, near the Paphos Forest.
To extinguish the fire, which is currently in progress, strong firefighting forces are operating, as well as aviation means.
