The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Monday, October 3, 2022 at 13:15, a fire broke out in an area near the community of Flusos.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under control at 13:30, before it spread.
Two members of the Forestry Department with one fire truck participated in extinguishing the fire.
