The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 16:15, a fire broke out in an area of the Anaritas Community of Paphos District.
Thanks to the immediate intervention of the fire-fighting forces of the Forestry Department, the fire was brought under full control before it spread.
Three persons of the Forestry Department with one fire engine and three persons of the Fire Service with one fire engine worked to extinguish the fire.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
