[PIO] Forest fire in an area of the community of Konia under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Wednesday 13 September 2023 at 16:50, a fire broke out in an area of the community of Konia, Paphos district.

The fire was brought under full control at 18:00 after burning 5 decares of land with wild grasses, apocalypses and a quantity of hay.

3 persons of the Forestry Department with 1 fire engine and 3 persons of the Fire Service with also 1 fire engine participated in the extinguishing operation.

The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
