[PIO] Forest fire in an area of the Community of Drynia under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on 12 November at 13:35 a fire broke out in an area of the community of Drynia in Paphos District.

The fire was brought under full control at 16:15 after burning an area of twenty-five decares of low wild vegetation.

Two fire engines of the Forestry Department with nine persons participated in the extinguishing operation, while two persons of the Fire Service with one fire engine also assisted.

The causes of the fire are being investigated.
