The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, 13 October 2023 at 14:40, a fire broke out in the location "Appies" of the Community of Droushia, Paphos District.
The fire was brought under full control at 15:20 after burning an area of two decares with wild vegetation.
Three fire engines of the Forestry Department with 12 persons participated in the extinguishing operation. Three fire department personnel with one fire engine also assisted.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
