[PIO] Forest fire in an area of the Community of Akoursos under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Saturday 11 November 2023 at 14:20, a fire broke out in the location "Edres" of the Municipality of Akoursos, Paphos District.

The fire was brought under full control at 15:15 after burning an area of three decares of low wild vegetation.

Three persons of the Forestry Department with two fire engines participated in the extinguishing operation.

The causes of the fire are being investigated.
