[PIO] Foreign Minister pays a working visit to Uzbekistan

Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos is currently travelling to Uzbekistan, where he will pay a working visit on 15 and 16 May 2024.

During his stay in the capital Tashkent, the Foreign Minister will meet with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister will discuss issues related to bilateral relations between Cyprus and Uzbekistan, developments in the Cyprus problem, EU-Uzbekistan relations, as well as regional developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Central Asia.

During his visit, the Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with the President of the Senate Mrs. Tanzila Narbayeva, the President of the Legislative Council Mr. Nuriddin Ismailov and the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Mr. Laziz Kudratov.
