Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will leave today, Tuesday 16 January 2024, for Vienna, where he will attend the official opening of the Cyprus Presidency of the Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). It is noted that during the period January - April 2024 Cyprus will chair the Forum, which, together with the OSCE Permanent Council, are the two autonomous decision-making bodies of the Organization.
Mr.Kombos will participate in the inaugural meeting of the Forum's plenary session which will take place on Wednesday 17 January 2024. The Minister will also have separate meetings with the OSCE Secretary General Ms Helga Schmid and the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Ms Teresa Ribeiro.
