Foreign Minister Dr Konstantinos Kombos will depart on Sunday, 8 October 2023, for Oman, where he will participate in the 27th Ministerial Meeting of the European Union - Gulf Cooperation Council, which will take place on 9 and 10 October.
The discussions will focus on cooperation between the two organisations and the further deepening of their strategic relationship. Also on the agenda will be issues of common interest concerning the wider region as well as international developments. In addition, the Ministers will exchange views on cooperation between the two Organisations on humanitarian aid, as well as on climate change and the Green Deal, in view of the COP28 Summit to be held in the United Arab Emirates next November.

The Foreign Minister will return to Cyprus on Wednesday, 11 October 2023.
