Foreign Minister Dr Constantine Combos is travelling to New York, where he will accompany the President of the Republic Mr Nicos Christodoulides in his contacts throughout the High-Level Week of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During his presence in New York, Mr. Kombos will hold a series of bilateral contacts with his counterparts and participate in high-level meetings. In this context, he will participate in meetings of European Union Foreign Ministers and Commonwealth Foreign Ministers. He will also attend round table discussions on the Middle East Peace Process and the International Criminal Court, and attend a dinner hosted by the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on transatlantic relations.
Finally, the Foreign Minister will sign the Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction.
