[PIO] Foreign Minister goes to Luxembourg for the EU Foreign Affairs Council

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will leave tomorrow for Luxembourg, where he will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday, 22 April 2024.

The discussions will focus on the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments in Sudan. A joint meeting of EU Foreign and Defence Ministers will also be held to discuss the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The Council will be followed by the EU-GCC High Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation, which will be attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, EU Foreign Ministers, the Secretary General of the GCC Council, the Foreign Ministers of the GCC member states and the EU Special Representative for the Gulf.

During his stay in Luxembourg, the Foreign Minister will hold separate meetings with officials of the GCC member states.
