The Tax Department announces that the submission of the Value Added Tax (VAT) return and the payment of the tax due for the period ending 30 November 2023 has been extended until Monday 15/01/2024.
The extension was deemed necessary due to the shutdown of the Taxpayers' Portal (TFA) for upgrade purposes during the period 18/12/2023-21/12/2023.
The submission of the above VAT return and the payment of the tax due after 15/01/2024 is considered overdue and subject to charges, additional tax and interest, in accordance with the Value Added Tax Law.
