The Examinations Service reminds the public that on Saturday 26 February 2022 it will hold Written Examinations for the Certificate of Proficiency in Greek and English Language at the following levels:
1. Excellent English Language Proficiency (Level C2)
2. Very Good English Language Proficiency (Level C1)
3. Good Knowledge of English Language (Level B2)
4. Excellent Knowledge of Greek Language (Level C2)
The purpose of the Examination is to certify proficiency in the respective language and level, a qualification which may be required for employment or promotion by various Services or Organizations in the Public or Private Sector. A candidate who obtains at least 50% marks in the Written Examination will be considered successful in these examinations.
The Written Examinations will be held at venues to be announced after the collection of applications by the Examinations Office. All information concerning the Examination will be sent in good time by personal letter to each candidate individually.
Applications must be submitted by Thursday 20 January 2022 to. 28777, 2082 Nicosia[/U] and should be accompanied by a postal rather than a personal cheque, payable to the Director General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth[/U]. The application must necessarily be accompanied by a photocopy of the applicant's identity card or passport. Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
