The consultation will close on 20 September 2024.

The Ministry of State for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy would like to inform stakeholders that the 12-week open consultation for the Digital Europe Programme has recently been announced.

The consultation aims to collect information on stakeholders' needs related to digital transformation, the benefits of the Digital Europe Programme and possible ways to improve it. In particular, it aims to get feedback from citizens, but also from all types of stakeholders, such as SMEs, public organisations, social partners and the academic community in the Member States of the European Union (EU) and other countries participating in the Programme.

The consultation will also be an opportunity to assess the first results obtained, such as the development of supercomputers, the launch of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs, the creation of Artificial Intelligence Testing and Experimentation Facilities and common European data spaces, as well as training for advanced digital skills.

The questionnaire is available in English, French and German at Have Your Say and input can be given in any official EU language. To participate in the consultation, please go to the link above and select: "Reply to the questionnaire".

For questions about the consultation you can contact the relevant EU address at cnect-digital-europe-committee@ec.europa.eu .

* The Digital Europe is an EU funding programme with a budget of over €7.9 billion, which focuses on providing digital technology to businesses, citizens and public administrations. The Digital Europe programme complements funding available through other EU programmes such as Horizon Europe (for research and innovation) and the Connecting Europe" (for digital infrastructure), the recovery and resilience mechanism, the structural funds and others.
