The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy informs citizens that, in full compliance with the revised guidelines of the European eHealth Network, the way of presenting the booster dose of the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine in the European Digital Certificates COVID (EUDCC) has been modified, which now indicate the type of booster vaccine, followed by the coding 2/1 (proportional to the number of doses received).

Citizens who have issued their certificates before 14/01/2022 can issue an updated certificate through the platform www.eudcc.gov.cy.

As a reminder, in all countries where the COVID-19 European Digital Certificate is used, the following encodings apply:

- 1/1 refers to receipt of one dose of monodose vaccine,

- 1/2 refers to receipt of one dose of divalent vaccine,

- 2/2 refers to receipt of two doses of divalent vaccine,

- 3/3 refers to receipt of a booster dose after completion of a vaccination regimen with divalent vaccine, and

- 2/1 to receive a booster dose after completion of a vaccination regimen with a single dose of monostatic vaccine

Regarding the issue of the European Digital Certificate COVID-19, including the booster dose, the Ministry of State for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy invites citizens to make sure that their certificate contains the correct information. Booster doses should be recorded as follows.
