[PIO] Establishment of the Committee for the Evaluation of the 2024 - 2025 Thymeli Plan

The Deputy Ministry of Culture announces that the Performance Evaluation Committee (PEC) has been established, whose term of office begins today and ends on 31 December 2025.

The mission of the PSC is to evaluate the quality of theatrical productions staged by theatrical institutions that receive sponsorship through the THYMELI Plan. To this end, the Commission monitors productions and carries out an evaluation which it submits to the State Ministry of Culture for further handling, in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. Each NAC is appointed for a period of two years.

The NAC is composed of nine (9) members, who come from the broader field of Arts and Letters, without being limited to these fields, with the aim of covering as many profiles of the Cypriot spectator as possible.

Five of its members are elected directly by the theatre organisations through an election process organised by the Deputy Ministry of Culture, and four members are appointed by the Deputy Minister of Culture.

Following an election process held today 9/2/2024 at the Deputy Ministry of Culture, the theatre bodies elected the following five people as members of the NAP:

The Deputy Minister of Culture appointed the following four persons as members of the NAP:
