The Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, Mr. George Papanastasiou departs tonight for Singapore, where on Wednesday he will participate in a roundtable discussion on "Unlocking the full potential of East Mediterranean low-carbon gas" as part of the Strategy Conference of the Gastech 2023 international energy exhibition.
During his short visit to Singapore, Mr. Papanastasiou will also meet privately with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Mr. Tarek El Molla, as well as with Mr. Osama Mobarez, Secretary General of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum, while meetings are also scheduled with senior executives of energy companies operating in Cyprus, namely the American Chevron and the Dutch Vitol.
The Energy Minister will return to Cyprus on Saturday morning, 9 September 2023.
